Iron man (belarusian folk swamp creature)

First model for my graduation project - Iron Man (not Tony Stark).

The giant who lives in the woods or in a swamps. His body is composed entirely of iron. Protects their possessions. Dangerous for the children.

The idea of ​​Iron Man linked with the presence of iron deposits in the Belarusian marshes. Some iron nuggets can be visually similar to the human figure. Since the production of bog iron existed in Belarus even before the arrival of the Slavs, it's possible to assume very ancient origin of the image of Iron Man.

In the novel B. Kazko "Nerush" Iron Man represents as the guard of wealth of native wildlife and opposes unfair ameliorators, embodying the ecological principles of people.
